In the original Crisis on Infinite Earths by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, the homeworld of Pariah, along with the infinite Multiverse, was obliterated. Now this mad sole survivor has found a way to bring his homeworld and the entire infinite Multiverse back from the dead: Earth-0 must die. An ancient destructive force called the Great Darkness, first appearing in Swamp Thing by Alan Moore and Stan Woch, is the weapon Pariah will wield as he paves a path to rebirth and vengeance. In DC's next big event, DARK CRISIS, the heroes left behind must come together to combat this great evil and save the lost Justice League, but what happens when not everyone agrees to join the fight?

Yes I’m reading this, I’ve literally been reading everything leading up to this and I’m reading most of the legacy heroes starring in this.

Also looks like I was right with the recent Slade taking over the secret society being involved in this story

Likely will be some of the major characters, but Williamson says there won’t be a new JL for a while. I think at the end of Dark Crisis we will get the FS JL lineup with Jackson replacing Andy.

What about Flash?

Wally doesn’t look to be going with the team and he’s in Dark Crisis.

1. They better not kill off John Stewart
2. I only care about a handful of characters in this. DC you know who I care about don't do them dirty three.

3. I guess I need to pay attention to Aqualad. I loved him in the first two seasons of Young Justice. From the little I've read in the comics I haven't been as impressed. Maybe I need to give him a chance.

Ah, DC. Another day, another multiversal Crisis.

How can anyone care about the stakes to these things anymore? A bunch of nothing alternate Earths die (or come back). Earth 3 gets rebooted. Superman gets rebooted. See you next time for Giga-Darkseid or whatever!

Yeah, I only care about a handful of characters as well. So I share your sentiments.

With that said, I think John will be killed off, along with the other Justice Leaguers unfortunately. But I do think that DC is acknowledging John as an important and major character. So you see him with other top tier important and major characters in the Justice League. If they didn't acknowledge John this way, they probably would have swapped him out for Hal most likely.

Dick being more involved in the JL is what I've pushed for a while. So while I'm kind of tepid on events overall I'm curious how he will be used at least. Although him not being Batman I do have to set my expectations lower just because being Batman would ensure a much higher ceiling obviously, but with characters like Wally, Hal, and Dick it isn't like they lack JL experience. So I don't think it should be a tough transition, but if characters like Jace as Batman start trying to lead the JL with their limited hero experience I have to question that. Maybe the rest of the Titans will step up like their fans have wanted too, but I do think this will mostly focus on the 5G characters still. It is interesting to note that Raven is the only NTT era Titan not on the cover. Wonder if that means anything.

Canon and continuity were already straighten out.

We will have to see if the dead league are moving to the Pariah worlds.

Wonder if they want to divide Earth 0 into 5 or more Earths again....keep in mind Earth 0 is no longer the main earth. The Elseworld probably has more classic line up of JL anyways. So they can move on from the old versions on Earth 0.

Bruce obviously survives.

"Dark Crisis" they are really running out of Crisis derivative names at this point.

It looks like this storyline is definitely taking all the big names out so they can promote other heroes, which is kind of nice but begs the question A. how this will track with solo books, and B. how long the main League will be gone.

Hal being stuck on the sidelines has ended up paying off now that he's one of the only "classics" still left.

Why are Doomsday and Ares are in the pic ? They are not even close to be in the league of Neron Eclipso Darkseid Nekron and the Gentry.

And Pariah is the bad guy now ? After Superboy Prime all those involve in the end of the first Crisis are now evil ? Good thing they kill Harbinger

Mixed feelings about this.

But if it finally straightens out all the damn confusion about what may-or-may-not-be "canon" when it's all done, maybe it will have some benefit.
