I mean, I'm not the biggest fan so far but saying Dark Crisis is one of the worst storylines DC has ever published is certainly just hyperbole

I can't disagree with you about something I am not reading. This mess is nothing but filler since we know certain folks are coming back and even still appearing in books despite being considered dead.
HIC screwed over everybody besides beside Wally, Harley and Ivy.
I don't see Hotspot (who got trashed by Dan in Sideways in an attempt to badmouth Teen Titans again and even WORST made to look like Trayvon Martin in HIC-both books by the same editor) walking around nor Gunfire and the rest.
For a book about mental illness and awareness-it did NOT do that. It would have had better meaning if we got into the heads of everyone before the butchering.
As Robanker crap like Heroes in Crisis does NOT go away because DC will make sure it stays in trades and releases.
Look at John Stewart and a certain planet. We still see it get bought up. And unlike Wally who has his first solo series run, Teen Titans of the 1980s and so on-he got enough material to try counter that mess.
John Stewart does not. Especially with the ONE solo run he had and story arc being done by a writer in prison right now. So that is going into trade.
Wally & HIC will come back up. All those victims had love ones. How does 1996 Titans feel? Tattoo man's wife? the LGBTQA+ community? Cheshire? Accident or not-some writer will find a way to bring it back up for shock value.

"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
DC: Dick Grayson, Wally West, Donna Troy, Yara Flor, Titans
Some of my favorite Mangas: One Piece, Slam Dunk, Fullmetal Alchemist, HunterXHunter, Vinland Saga, Monster, Berserk, Vagabond.
Current reading: Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, Kaiju Nº8, Blue Lock, Dandadan.
Absolutely agree with this question. Legends was great and set up Wally as Flash, the Giffen League, and the Ostrander Suicide Squad. I'd say it's easily one of the better DC events.
Now, if we want to throw on Genesis or even Millennium onto that list, I'd understand.
To be fair
Legends set up Suicide Squad and other folks and teams-so it should NOT be on the list.
Bloodlines only took place in the annuals and did what so many have CRIED about and introduced new folks and NOT at the expense of established folks.
It did have some success as Hitman had a long run and gave shots to Blood Pack, Razorsharp and the Psyba-Rats, Anima, Loose Cannon, Argus and Gunfire. Loose Cannon actual saw a second series decades later.
Convegence was filler for the move DC made to California.
Legends and Bloodlines actually produced books solos, minis and ongoings. Instead of being trainwrecks like the others or the start of butchering teens that IC started.
Sorry guys I thought Legends sucked lol. Hitman by Ennis spun out of Bloodlines but I still don’t consider that a good event.

Genesis was TRULY awful.
It was the worst kind of event as literally NOTHING happened!!
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
