Rewatching the NBC pilot....so bad. The cast is great and fit their roles. The chemistry between Diana/Steve is there. Elizabeth Hurley is great as Veronica Cale. But this is what you would show someone if you want them to know how not to do Wonder Woman.
Diana runs Themiscryia Industries. It sells EVERYTHING Wonder Woman. Dolls, action figures, paintings, you name it, they got it in terms of WW.
Goes by Wonder Woman/Diana of Themyscira for the public and Diana Prince as her secret ID.
She breaks up with Steve to move to LA and make the world a better place. Also she is afraid of him getting hurt.
Veronica Cale is the big bad and selling drugs that kill people.
WW designed her costume to look like an action figure to sell merch and fund herself in Mans World
Etta is her assistant
Diana gets into an argument with Henry, her CEO & right hand man over her Barbie doll that has big boobs. She doesnt approve of it, he believes they sell better that way...
WW of course has enhanced speed, strength, magic lasso. Can not fly but has her Themiscryian jet.
She attempts to use her outfit to convince a cop to let her into a hospital room housing a bad guy she was after and appears to injure him to get answers out him as the lasso lays right on top of him....
Diana is known for beating bad guys up, torturing criminals. One of the heads of Washington wonders why they shouldn't investigate and prosecute her to which Diana shrugs it off.
Wonder Woman infiltrates one of Veronicas warehouses where she fights 20 men who think they can take her. She is really a fan of lassoing bad guys by their necks as this is the 3rd time she does it. She impales a guy in his throat.
She lasso whips Veronica and knocks her out. Saves the people Veronica was using as test subjects. She returns to TI to a round of applause from her employees.
Steve surprises Diana and has been transferred to LA. SURPRISE! He's married.
Diana goes back to her Diana Prince apartment (she has her main one at TI and this one for when she wants to feel normal) to her cat Sylvester. Sets up a Facebook profile, watches the news and is on the verge of tears.
