A team that knew nothing about superheros seemed to be the problem. The fact that DC even would be ok with it is...interesting.

David E. Kelley was such a bad choice. Even moreso than Whedons script.

But hey, Snyder just had to make her a "badass chick" to appease the hordes of Snyder fans who want Diana to be a "warrior"...
Snyders WW didn't care about damage but she was far from blood thirsty.

Are you serious? It’s very comic-accurate—with the kinds of minor tweaks that different artists are always giving the costume.

The problem is the choice of fabric/material and the overly vivid colors that make it look like a cosplay/Halloween get-up… and the push-up bustier that makes her look like she’s going to be exposed any moment. (Although plenty of artists draw WW that way, too.)

“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”

I only support the made of clay origin.

She didn't literally "thirst for blood," but the way she slammed those men against those walls (leaving blood and gore behind) was as un-Diana as one gets. It was amazing that moments before she was displaying her superspeed when she stopped all those bullets, yet suddenly she could not get rid of the bomb and subdue the men in two seconds (hello, lasso of truth) without massacring them. All in the name of the most empty-headed"badassery" that Snyder's fans love. Also, it's more than not caring for "damage"; Snyder's Wonder-Woman-In-Name-Only literally did not care about brutally killing a bunch of human men that stood no chance against her. And sorry, them being terrorists does not negate that Diana is not a killer. She could have stopped them without killing them.

Im far from a Snyder stan but she didn't bloody the place up. She essentially blew them up and nothing was left behind. Ive criticized that moment since his version came out but his version is being blown out of proportion by some.

0:45 seconds, she throws one of the robbers onto a wall and leaves a blood splatter. Is it on the extreme side of graphic? Nope. And yes they were gonna kill a bank full of kids.

Of course lots of people exagerate what went on, but Snyder did portray Diana as someone willing to use violence casually.

Rewatching the NBC pilot....so bad. The cast is great and fit their roles. The chemistry between Diana/Steve is there. Elizabeth Hurley is great as Veronica Cale. But this is what you would show someone if you want them to know how not to do Wonder Woman.

Diana runs Themiscryia Industries. It sells EVERYTHING Wonder Woman. Dolls, action figures, paintings, you name it, they got it in terms of WW.

Goes by Wonder Woman/Diana of Themyscira for the public and Diana Prince as her secret ID.

She breaks up with Steve to move to LA and make the world a better place. Also she is afraid of him getting hurt.

Veronica Cale is the big bad and selling drugs that kill people.

WW designed her costume to look like an action figure to sell merch and fund herself in Mans World

    Etta is her assistant

Diana gets into an argument with Henry, her CEO & right hand man over her Barbie doll that has big boobs. She doesnt approve of it, he believes they sell better that way...

WW of course has enhanced speed, strength, magic lasso. Can not fly but has her Themiscryian jet.

She attempts to use her outfit to convince a cop to let her into a hospital room housing a bad guy she was after and appears to injure him to get answers out him as the lasso lays right on top of him....

Diana is known for beating bad guys up, torturing criminals. One of the heads of Washington wonders why they shouldn't investigate and prosecute her to which Diana shrugs it off.

Wonder Woman infiltrates one of Veronicas warehouses where she fights 20 men who think they can take her. She is really a fan of lassoing bad guys by their necks as this is the 3rd time she does it. She impales a guy in his throat.

She lasso whips Veronica and knocks her out. Saves the people Veronica was using as test subjects. She returns to TI to a round of applause from her employees.

Steve surprises Diana and has been transferred to LA. SURPRISE! He's married.

Diana goes back to her Diana Prince apartment (she has her main one at TI and this one for when she wants to feel normal) to her cat Sylvester. Sets up a Facebook profile, watches the news and is on the verge of tears.

It's not interesting. It is accurate evidence of what DC has alkways shown towards WW. They don't care.

Thanks! This is the most info I’ve ever read about the show. I still cannot muster the enthusiasm to watch it. I fear it would make me nauseated. (Kind of like I felt walking out of the theater after seeing Man Of Steel.)

Yw. David made her very angry but then really emotional when she's by herself. She watches The Notebook....the guy that gave us Alley McBeal is not the one to give us Wonder Woman.

Which is the polar opposite of the OG of OG WW pilots in the 60s or whatever where Diana is infatuated with herself

Oh please, even porn parodies have better production values:

Justice League: Mortal storyboard. They were going to adapt the Sacrifice arc to the film.

And based on trackrecord. They would probably adapt it so Diana looks helpless against SM.
