I hope Hawkman is a standout character in this movie, enough that WB would greenlit a solo HBO Max show or even a movie.

Also, every article of clothing he is wearing clashes with everything else.

I think it's only a rumor. The director confirmed in an interview that the characters that would bring some humor in the movie would be Atom-Smasher and Cyclone, so I'm not very worried.

The movie is coming out this year and is likely gonna end with a new Black Panther. It ain't gonna be Aldis Hodge as T'Challa. If they were specifying Earth-616 T'Challa it's probably because they'll still have other versions of the character appear in What If.

I know it's not possible for BP2 but fingers crossed for any future MCU project.

Anyway, lets leave it at that. I don't want the Hawkman to be turned into a BP thread.

Unless the movie absolutely bombs I suspect Hodges will be playing Hawkman again, so I'm not really sure what brought this on. And while there have been many cases of actors doing both Marvel and DC roles, I doubt he's ever playing T'Challa.
