I seem to remember some from back in the the days of The Superman / Batman Hour or The Superman / Aquaman Hour back in the mid-to-late 1960s, plus some appearances in various Super Friends cartoons . . .

The DCSHG version has been surprisingly good.

Agreed. I thought he was decent in that movie but I didn't like that he was killed off.
We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!

Wasn't Hawkman used in a candy bar commercial several years ago?

Nice find. Hawkman has some of the best classic artwork out there IMO.

I keep an eye out for vendors selling that calendar every time I go to a con.

I was not a huge fan of the Super Friends. Even though I was only 9 when it debuted, I immediately recognized it was lame in comparison to the 60s Filmation shows. That was due to parental guidelines so that violence couldn't be seen on Saturday mornings (idiots!). But I did enjoy seeing Hawkman and Hawkgirl show up occasionally -- albeit in not the greatest of stories. I don't think I've seen any other animated Hawk stuff, but I do want to see that recent JSA movie.
