I'm thinking that this might be the first time Banshee has a chance of being properly written in decades. I actually can't wait. I'm sick of him either being wallpaper or just arbitrarily killed off for no good reason. He might actually get a few lines of in context, sensible dialogue finally.

With Rachel and Kylun (I love my boy Colin) joining Knights of X... it now has a much more 'Excalibur' cast than Howard's Excalibur ever did!

Am I the only one that's not a fan of them using the gala outfits as their main outfits? I know this is part of theme of the issue, but I saw storm and jean are going to start using the outfits as their main uniforms and it just seems uninspired to me.

Other than Jean those aren’t their main outfits. They’re infiltrating a cosmic casino so wearing formal wear.

And Storm’s new outfit isn’t her one from the Gala. She’s got a newer one for X-men Red.

    Definitely:
    New Mutants
    Marauders

    Possibly:
    Knights of X (Kylun!!!)
    X-Men Red
    Immortal X-Men

Yesssssss!! I’ve been waiting for a girls night out themed issue. These ladies deserve a spotlight on issue. I hope we get to see more of Jean’s leadership utilized.
Emma Frost, Rogue, Felicia Hardy, Helena Bertinelli, Allison Blaire, Barbara Gordon, Monica Rambeau, Carol Danvers, Illyana Rasputin, Ororo Munroe, Harleen Quinzel, Lorna Dane, Irene Adler, Kate Kane, Rachel Grey Summers, Jean Grey, Diana Prince, Barbara Ann Minerva, Donna Troy, Jennifer Walters, Gwen Stacy, Wanda Maximoff = PERFECTION!

brings a BIG SMILE to my face. It's DARING but ELEGANT, with its seafoam,
moonGLOW translucence showing her subtle, see-through nakedness from
the upper thighs to her pelvic area, to the barely-there neckline being more
wide-open than ever, baring her shoulders almost completely & covering her
ample breasts only, apparently... to where the edge of the areolas would be?! 8P
It should definitely get TONGUES WAGGING, and I can't wait to see it inside...

when she uses her powers & animates it w/an almost otherworldly, apparition
like ETHEREAL ENERGY. One fan even called her a NYMPH, from MYTHological

Love how she's got Pepe's now classic looking-down-my-nose-at-you pose, too. ;p

Pretty much which is why i enjoyed both examples of avoiding the implication.

Certainly not the worst idea for a new costume.

On one hand it makes sense for them to pull out these outfits for another "fancy cloth time" usage, which makes sense since it would be weird for them to throw them away after one use. But then one has to wonder about the location and size of their closets or where ever they store both old costumes and civilian clothes.

I am also hoping for a good showing by Banshee, and having him officially on a team.

They really are such a badass team. I can't wait.
I love seeing Laura part of the X-Women like this.

Does this mean that they're finally going to confront the mushroom spacesuit?

BOOM!! These 2 take top billing, X-Men sounds like it's custom-made for me, and Red looks INSANE!

The main team of Krakoan X-Men won’t be safe from the effects of Judgment Day either! Creative powerhouses Gerry Duggan and Pepe Larraz continue their hit run in X-Men #11. The women of the X-Men are heading for the hottest action in the galaxy…Gameworld! But if it’s true that the house always wins, our X-Ladies might be in over their heads…

And expect planet-size power grabs and enormous omega-level feats in Al Ewing and Stefano Caselli’s X-MEN RED #3. Tarn the Uncaring waged war and torture on Arakko for centuries. He’s the most hated being on Mars…and he sits on their ruling council. Abigail Brand has a plan to remedy that — and reap the rewards. So does Roberto Da Costa. But only one of them can win…and Tarn’s going to make at least one mutant pay the price for it!

My anticipation for Red is really starting to grow, and after Al's answers in X-Monday earlier + the delightfully detestable & truly terrifying Tarn, I'm starting to feel potential Hellions energy from it. Poor Mags tho, huh, seems like he's still gettin' his **** handed to him in the worst ways. Don't like seein' that, TBH, had enough of it in ToM to last me a lifetime. He better not walk away from this all F'd up beyond recognition.

X-Men is gonna be OUT OF THIS WORLD in every way, I JUST KNOW IT!! They'll be taking on the fungus hostess with the most-ess, ole Cordyceps Jones himself, he of the mushroom head & all those jagged, nasty teeth. Watta thoroughly grotesque creation it is, I gotta say. And who knows what other threats the dressed to *kill* X-Ladies will encounter & have to face-off against, it could turn into a real royal rumble!

Tough call, but I'm gonna have to give the edge to Legion of X over Immortal this month, because...

Meet Mother Righteous in Si Spurrier and Jan Bazaldua’s LEGION OF X #2! Legion is offered an unholy deal by this major new character, the self-proclaimed wheeler-dealer of the astral plane. But is the price worth the prize for a young man stuck in his father's shadow? Meanwhile, the Skinjacker grows bold. Not content with stealing identities of other mutants, he turns his powers on the Legion of X... And while newly arrived Arakki badass Weaponless Zsen has a beastly clash with a dangerous X-Man, her chaperone Nightcrawler is otherwise engaged – giving a massage...?

BANSHEE! But if Selene's still weaving a spell over in the never-enders, that could change instantly.
    I'm just *bewitched* by her.

Took more notice of Knights this round, and overall, think this is the most enticing & exciting month
    we've had in a while.
