Wow! We were there almost the same time and probably saw many of the same things. Listen, it was a long time ago and its possible there was a queue and my memory made it better. All I know is that I was there and determined to get in there and enjoy it - so I did.
Nice! You know, its such a great place it would be worth a line.

Every day is a gift, not a given right.
Catlady in training, which manages to be a homage that comments on the original work!
But I'm bummed that Riv86672's Galactus isn't an entry. Iron Maiden's entry was also good, with a tenderness seldom seen in superhero comics.

I vote Stony for finding one paying homage to my favorite artist. Runners up this week for me are Iron Maiden and Lord Mikel.
Kirby101 'cuz the more I look at this cover homage, the more I see in it and the amount of attention to detail is extraordinary
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
Tami this week.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
CaptCleghorn That painting always freaked me out as a kid.
