This subject is a pleasure for the eyes… Thank you, foxley.

The highlighting of the Lichtenstein hypocrisy followed by the self-referential meta commentary in the last panel? Bill Watterson is a genius. This is High Art.

Wow! We were there almost the same time and probably saw many of the same things. Listen, it was a long time ago and its possible there was a queue and my memory made it better. All I know is that I was there and determined to get in there and enjoy it - so I did.

Catlady in training, which manages to be a homage that comments on the original work!

But I'm bummed that Riv86672's Galactus isn't an entry. Iron Maiden's entry was also good, with a tenderness seldom seen in superhero comics.

I vote Stony for finding one paying homage to my favorite artist. Runners up this week for me are Iron Maiden and Lord Mikel.

Nschornhorst. Because Donald “Van Gogh” Duck is irresistible…

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
