Before Marvel was, you mean. DC's been owned by Warner since the 60s.

I know, hence "before they were both absorbed."

well at least the official, up-front retail sales will get to the party who needs it. (I think?)
meanwhile the secondary, speculator sales, will likely not benefit Mr. Perez.

"Someday" it will hopefully be officially available on a wider scale.

One thing that would be a nice nod to Mr. Perez....it's quite obvious that most of us who would want to buy that book just aren't going to be able to. So how about donating to Hero Initiative in George's name. It's something he will see. He will benefit from it as it does appear they are donating quite a bit to his care. Imagine how much it would mean to George to see all these donations made in his name and his honor.

My local store are holding a raffle for the few copies they got, with the proceeds going to the Hero Initiative. Nice thing for them to do. I bought a bunch of tickets.

None of the shops in my area received any copies - they had plans to do the raffle idea as well, but such is allocation.
