Yes, indeed. There was also Wade (dunno if it's canon, though):

Oh yeah - that last one was in Uncanny Avengers.

She dated Scarlet Witch's "father"? Awkward!

It was implied that they went quite a bit beyond just flirting. But yeah, they didn't date. They had a single one-night stand and it was mostly a tactical move on Jan's part, like you said (and partly a she was just very recently divorced and on a bit of a rebound).

I believe it IS supposed to be canon--but its rather moot, since Wade's involvement in "Secret Wars" (including his fling with Jan) was wiped from everyone's memory except for Wade's.

Thanks, Dermie. Bittersweet ending and all, it was truly an interesting experience (IMHO):

That's weird, why does his mask have a mouth? It's supposed to be like Spider-Man's, where he has to lift it up if he wants to eat.

It doesn't. He's not actually eating it yet, you're just seeing his mouth through his mask. That was more common in the Duggan era.

With the controversy surrounding Evangeline Lilly supporting the anti-vaxx Canadians, do you think she may end up taking a back seat in the MCU? Maybe resulting in Janet getting more spotlight?

    One can hope.

Isn't Quantumania too far in production for them to sack her?

Yeah, it should be, but they could always do it and replace her. Or not use her anymore going forward.

I sadly don't think this would translate into MCU Janet getting more to do simply because they already undermined her so much to the point where it feels like it's unlikely she's going to be the title hero type of character. She might get the wise older mentor role like Hank, but I'm not expecting more than that, because at the end of the day, Scott will still likely be the main Ant-Man, and there isn't much of a reason why Janet would be ''his'' Wasp. It would be a weird dynamic. I actually think their ''fix'' for this situation (if they look for one, that is) would be simply to give Cassie a bigger role going forward now that she's older. Specially if they promote her as Stinger, then she would be essentially a Wasp stand-in anyway. And they could promote the franchise as a father/daughter duo thing, which could work.

That's true - Stinger's powers are identical to Wasp's. Unfortunately, that's probably what's been limiting her use - she happened to become Stinger at about the same time Nadia debuted. Of course, when she showed up in Nadia's book, they downplayed it by having Cassie only use her original Stature powers (though Nadia was later revealed to have that ability as well).

I have been reading the Ultimates again, and there was a scene I had forgotten. When they were all attacking Thor, the Wasp tried to do the trick she did with Hulk, but Thor saw her and swallowed her whole. We do not see any more of her... until Thor is defeated.
