I love the idea of Jan and Jumbo as friends.

(Ironically I don't really like that Spider-Man look).

Also the shade at how the Avengers didn't bother with Gala wear last time.

Too bad Hank never got to be a dad and she probably still judges him for the slap.

She does. Of course Nadia did eventually find out, and denounced the Pym name as a result. Now Janet's the one she idolises, and Janet officially adopted her soon after. But that Civil War II tie-in was the first time Janet showed maternal feelings - she never wanted to be a mother before she met Nadia. Nadia still hasn't met Hank because he still hasn't been resurrected six years later. It will definitely be interesting to see how both Wasps react to his return when it eventually happens (he can't be gone forever, surely?). And the fact that Scott Lang has taken a kindly uncle role with Nadia, treating her like he does his own daughter Cassie.

    Which sucks to me.

Not the idolizing Jan part, but denouncing Hank to facilitate that. I never cared for Whitley doing that.

It was almost certainly the plan from the start when Waid created Nadia though. Remember that her movie counterpart Hope is called Van Dyne as well.

I am so pumped for this. Can’t really tell who the four villains are but I think I guessed two of them.

Me too! It gives it a Tales to Astonish flavor.

    To the utmost, I agree!

I know the majority is against it, but I still believe they're great together. (T_T)

Can anyone tell me at what point in the comics Janet becomes leader of the Avengers? And any other periods you know of where she receives a lot of focus? I'd like to start a read-through of her best eras and I could use some good recommendations.

I'm pretty certain it was when Roger Stern was writing The Avengers.
