Can speed force peserve aging?

I know many speedsters like the Flash obtain some speed force energy. One of the ability it can do is maintain strong aging effect. This is showed in the YJ show where Barry and Jay still look young and strong despite Barry is already in 40's and Jay is celebrating 95th birthday in the S2 of YJ. I wonder in the comics got explained like that?

Yes, it's the reason Jay Garrick is still alive. Given that his World War II origin is intact, even if he was a teenager then (he was actually at college in his origin, so I'd say he was in his early 20s in the war), he'd be about 100 years old now. Yet he only looks like he's in his 60s. The Speed Force doesn't grant immortality, but it does slow aging.

The Starheart provides the same benefit to Alan Scott (he actually IS immortal), and Wildcat's explanation is magic.
