Should Diana transform?

In several versions of the character, Diana posesses what is essentially a transformation sequence. A way to quickly don her costume by twirling her Lasso.

So I have two questions related to this

1. Should Diana have a transformation sequence
2. If Diana has a transformation sequence, should her power level differ between the two forms, or should it be a solely cosmetic thing.

Yeah, that was a nice visual for the TV show, but I'm not sure if it's really necessary for the comic books (especially if it takes up a whole page of story for a pretty splash page illustration).

For movies, it all depends on what it contributes to the story.

In a perfect world, just cosmetically.

In the true world, it should make her more powerful to at least a bit counter-act how much DC and WB try to turn her into an absolute weakling for most of the time.
