Capcom likely has to run it by Marvel to get it re-released.

I can't remember the last time we got a Dark stalkers game.

They won't because Fightcade exists. Darkstalkers with rollback netcode exists there so they won't have a need for this collection unless it offers them something that Fightcade does not.

I think that may be the case, as the XvsSF Arcade 1-Up all had Marvel-related games on it. Although that may have also just been a theme thing, so who knows?

The last fully original one was Vampire Savior/Darkstalkers 3 in 1997.

Thanks for the clarification there. And then one year after that, Marvel vs. Capcom 1 came out, and for the first time, I put together my favorite Marvel/Capcom duo --- Spider-Man and Morrigan Aensland!

I still have my PSOne copy of Puzzle Fighter so I am chuffed to see it being rereleased!

So far they've authorized everything aside from Marvel vs. Capcom 2 to be released as an Arcade 1up cabinet, so fingers crossed they can work out a traditional version re-release as well.

Yeah totally, I just want them rerelease them on console so I can use my fightstick and participate in on tournaments.

capcom has done the most crossover with other fighting games

- capcom vs marvel games
- street fighter x tekken
- capcom vs snk games
- capcom vs tatsunoko
- capcom vs namco - though this is a tactical rpg than a fighting game

It's not a game in this collection but I had no other place to put it. This a neat thread showing the comic panels that the character portraits from Marvel Superheroes were lifted from.
