Yeah, that definitely wasn't in X-Treme, unless I missed an issue. Also, anyone who knows their stuff can use playing cards to read Tarot(minor arcana only). Discs are diamonds, cups are hearts, swords are spades and wands are clubs. Playing cards are the profane descendants of Tarot cards.
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
On a similar theme, Polaris had a secondary mutation where she gets taller and beefier and feeds off negative emotions. Awful idea, and I can't remember if other writers just ignored it, or if it was got rid of some how.

Yep. She got super strength. It really didn't fit her I think. Except for Emma's diamond form, I'm really not keen on secondary mutations. Somehow the qualities of diamonds, (cutting, clear, beautiful, expensive, flawed etc.) seem to fit her perfectly, but mostly they should be forgotten.

Shatterstar is his own grandfather. Dazzler and Longshot are his parents but Longshot was created/cloned/grown from Shatterstar.
Storm no longer has "permanent make-up."
In other news Kurt's shadowed face seems to be returning.
Alex had sex with Maddie and Jean has all her memories so...
The Gambit thing happened around the time of Xorn 2.0 and Mammomax.
Beast became a moron for awhile when he got his fur back.
Game Over man! Game Over!
Wasn't there a thing about Kurt turning invisible in shadows or something?
And that Psylocke could teleport and move within shadows for a period in the 90s?
It was Austin's run. Couldn't he read the future in his cards too? IIRC gambitblind16.jpg
Just remembered one - unlike mutants with similar powers - Synch, had a innate understanding of any mutant power he 'synced' with, allowing him to better use and push the limits of any mutant power he borrowed without needing an adjustment/learning period eg. he should've been able to use Chamber's powers without fear of blowing out his chest.
His aura also turned him into a living Cerebro - he could sense nearby mutants.
