ZDarsky is really not trying anything different with this run

I think I'm Joker'd out at the moment.

Yeah, I liked it more for the post Zero Year Batman and Gordon action than the actual Joker plot but it was still a decent read.

I guess this is a chance for Zdarsky to write more Alfred.

Yeah, this Barman run has really disappointed me considering Chip Zdarsky's Spider-Man was great especially Finale and Daredevil was really good. I expected more.

Zdarsky has used the Barman of Zur -en-Arrh, Zero Year and now Endgame in this Joker story.

The fact this entire run is about another Evil Batman takes all the excitement out of it. Its all very creatively bankrupt, even King and Tynion's runs had more stuff going than just "Evil Batman".

    I actually really enjoyed it.

I have a few questions though.

    1. Who is the Duke he refers to at the end?
    2. Is he wearing the TDK suit in the future scenes?
    3. What was with the other Jokers beating him up? Or is that yet to be revealed?

We don't know, it's not revealed yet.
The last scene is a flashforward. Apparently they're planning another event, this time about Joker infection epidemic (it's an idea from Arkham Knight, I guess Chip doesn't really want to make up his own ideas for his run).

Duke Thomas is the Signal(yeah, it's a dumb name) he's a meta that got introduced during We Are Robin(which was a good book).
It definitely resembles the TDK suit in those scenes, definitely seems to be inspired by it.
There's a story called the Three Jokers that explains that scene.

I thought he meant that Duke but it seemed random because I don't recall him being anywhere in this run.

As for Three Jokers, I thought John's story was out of continuity?
