It's very good, the first arc uses several striking elements of pre-flashpoint batman, the second arc is filler, but it's a good read, it reminded me of the late 90's in some moments "Gordon" and Batman. Not better than Morrison's run but definitely better than Snyder's run (coming from someone who hates Snyder's Batman run, in Detective Comics he did really well).

    That sounds promising!

Tbf I remember a lot of people on here didn't like Snyder. I do get it his arcs always started interested before fizzling out and the exposition heavy dialogue did get tiresome but the book was pretty lol

It's okay. It's remixing older storylines which disappoints me as I'd like something new. But so far I'm still interested in checking it out.

lol This makes it seem like the nightmare is that Tim is still Robin. XD

DC as a whole is on hiatus from my understanding, cleanse the palette with some drivel before tossing some more new #1’s out there and continuing to flounder. Like with FF #700, Nightwing #300 can’t get here fast enough..

Jiminez drawing Steph is a treat though I'm also skeptical of any Batfamily use in this run after Failsafe.

I guess the main Batman tie-in will show which Batfamily members side with Bruce or Selina during Gotham War.

Finally had time to sit down and read Zdarsky's first two arcs and wonder why Morrison's Batman is referenced for the 3rd time after Snyder and King as if there were no other writers in the past 83 years. Zdarsky's Daredevil had a good start and fizzled out but his Batman did not even have that. Maybe DC should just fold the Black Label stuff into the regular series because at least for me there's more to enjoy. I really dug Sean Murphy's take. Great art and riffing on all the different media adaptations but at least done well and enjoyable. Moving on to Ram V's run now and Gotham City Year One and GCPD Blue Wall hoping to find better entertainment there.
