The movie synergy comic no one expected from Tom King!
I didn't know the Iceberg Lounge had strippers...
Selina in a blonde wig posing as a tennis instructor .
So is Croc just to distract Batman or...?
Wait wait wait wait! MORE Tom King Batman?! Coming next week?! I have really been out of the loop.
I know he divides fans, but pump this $#|+ into my veins.
Hopefully this is full on action and case cracking, divorced from the usual melodrama associated with King's recent work.
I admit that I'm powerless over Tom King and my pull list has become unmanageable.welcome to King lover's anonymous my name is Charlie
Nice touch both acknowledging Killer Croc's creators while featuring him in his classic attire in the panel.

I'm buying it mostly because of Maqruez's art is beautiful. Hopefully King won't drag this one out.
Pulls: Batman, Detective Comics, SiKtC, Catwoman, Nightwing, Titans, Godzilla, Wonder Woman, Batman & Robin, Brave and the Bold, No/One, Kill your Darlings, and Deviant.
My runs: Batman #230-, and Detective #420-
I'm pretty excited for this one. I hope King delivers on how he pitched it.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft
Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
I liked it. Simple and entertaining. Nitpicks aside, it was a fun read and I am looking forward to the next issue.
If Marquez could just draw Selina forever that'd be great.

I'll be honest, while I liked King's run on the main Batman title along with Batman/Catwoman, this one kind of left me cold. I'm also a huge fan of Marquez, but the whole thing just seemed rather...generic to me, which is the exact reason I dropped the main Batman book after King left.
Keep in mind that you have about as much chance of changing my mind as I do of changing yours.
