Well now see what I get for not reading Marvel previews... I was just browsing around Tumblr and discovered that Clea is appearing in the new Midnight Sons comic. It seems some sort of apocalypse is brewing that involves Agatha Harkness and one of the students at the Strange Academy. All of the major magic users sensed the disturbance including Clea and Wong (in a brief appearance), and Doom (in issue #01).
Doom tries to snatch the student but Clea won't allow it (in issue #02). There's a nice callback to Doom's appearance in Strange #1.
Clea lectures the Midnight Sons for getting involved (since apocalypses are the sort of thing the Sorcerer Supreme deals with), and when they sass her back, she teleports the lot of them to the Dark Dimension to cool their heels for a bit. That was amusing, but also...a bit extreme? If she wanted to keep them busy for a while, she could have just sent them to her mother's winter home (currently in Antarctica). They could have all fought with Umar for a while and then they all could have kicked back, had some cocktails, and complained that Clea has just been no fun at all since she became Earth's Sorcerer Supreme. Whatever!
Clea is not in #3 but she is mentioned when the Midnight Sons encounter a very ticked off Mhuruuk warlord-turned-vampire who mentions that he and his followers are planning a coup against Clea when she returns to the Dark Dimension. So that's something for Clea to look forward to once the current run of Strange ends, I guess. Fun!
I guess I will start following this title to see how all of this turns out.

Well, Clea's been wanting to bring Stephen back since her book started. Looks like she succeeds. She'll still be around though, solicit says he's reunited with Clea and Wong.

Really not a fan of Ferry's art but I'm happy that Mackay can continue his story with these characters.

I was wondering if it was follow on rather than an additional title but should have guessed so with the saturated market. Doctor Strange: Fall Sunrise had me going though that maybe this is just a hot time for the Strange world. Originally Posted by Digifiend
