Hooray! No more of Conan running around in 616. Should never have mixed the IP in the first place for EXACTLY this reason. You'd have thought Marvel would have learned this lesson in the 80s and 90s.

They'd have lost it sooner or later. Conan is public domain in most countries.

Yeah, seems that the current owners want to get once last spurt of income before they lose him in the US too. He'll go public domain in 2031, so Marvel can use him again in nine years as at that point they won't need a licence.

It's good to see them continuing the mythos. Elder Gods cannibalizing their own in order to acquire power used to be the only game in town. Wonder if we'll get an appearance by Atum and his god eating alter ego, Demogorge?

Just finished SA #5 and predictably Conan was resurrected.
I enjoyed the Elektra moments the most I think.
Still not sure what I think about Mileslok. Why have him look that close to Luthor Manning Deathlok?

First arc was pretty decent. Cloak largely sits in the corner and Dagger doesn't get much more to do except be childishly fought over.

Looking forward to Punisher 2099/Jake being the "tough guy" centerpiece for the next arc.

I wonder if that is going to be the format they adopt. Each arc has a new "strong" character at its center? Never mind Weapon H is there.
The guest stars are near limitless, here is my short wish list.

-Hercules
-Sentry
-Colossus
-The Thing

If they keep 5 issue arcs this would get the series to 30 issues. Just slightly more issues than volume 1.

Spoiler Alert.....(not really)....Ultron kills them all.
Buuuuut, there is Dr. Doom 2099's Time Gauntlet so by the time the next issue hits they will all be alive again like it was a Star Trek episode.

Looks like it has been cancelled with #10....nothing solicited for March.

Possibly, but its too soon to take that for granted. It could just as easily be a skip month. If SAVAGE AVENGERS is missing from the April solicits as well, then its likely done.

I'll be a bit surprised if it gets the "skip month" treatment that higher profile titles like Thor and Hulk got.

A stealth shadow cancel without announcing it seems in poor taste though.
