They would find a way to make readers care about the new characters. It happens all of the time, believe it or not. I mean if you told us back in 1980 that Captain Carter would be a character that people would want to read, well, most would probably say, "No chance." But here we are.

The beauty of the Marvel Universe is the universe.

It would leave a few characters, but more importantly, vast acres of the most fertile land for new crops.

No more covers that have nothing to do with the story within - especially variant covers that don't even feature the title character.

Sometimes it's pulled off other times it's adding abstract tier stuff to a street level character
And for the petty personal choice
No more black bolt only using his voice
Totally agree with the bold. It's difficult enough for cosmic characters to gain a foothold with Marvel readers (I see less of that with DC Comics fans for some reason), but to have "street level" types repeatedly step into cosmic roles, typically by getting a massive power boost of some sort just so that they can have relevance and efficacy in a story is mind-numbingly frustrating for fans of cosmic characters.

By the way, were you around back in the 1980s when Marvel gave us the New Universe line of comics?

Going back to my original "No More." An alternate versions mini for Jessica Jones was just announced. Plus there is the Miles Morales What If?, Spider-Gwen, Captain Carter, Spider-Punk, Maestro, Avengers Forever... it just seems endless right now.

No more Jason Aaron on any Avengers titles
I am a Marvel fan preferably cosmic storylines, especially Thanos or Dark Phoenix related, when both the Avengers and the X-Men are involved count me in, loved the original Uncanny Avengers series.
Not a fan of any of the new characters.

Yes, but the two situations are not the same. 19 years of comics stories vs. 60+ years of stories featuring mostly the same characters -- or slightly different derivative characters (like Venom) in the same roles as the predecessor. An old man gets tired of seeing the same old, same old. You can only till the soil so much before it's time to seriously consider farming on fresh new acreage. Give the old plot time to recover. The MCU can do whatever, but the comics should launch something new every 25-30 years or so.

There is simply to many "No More..." scenarios to really list, but if i have to pick one then i would choose No more destroying marriages and couples for sake of shock value or the idea that no one wants to see them in this day and age, we all know i am talking about OMD primarily here but let us also not forget T'Challa and Storm (one minute they love each other and the next they pulling a GOt), Kitty and Piotr (She gets cold feet at the altar...really?), Wasp and Havok (they had a child together!)...i can't speak for anyone but myself when i say i want some damn romance and all that comes with it! Frankly i am surprised they haven't gone after Gambit and Rogue or Hulkling and Wiccan yet.

Shouldn't that also include Deviants and Mutants?

No more redundancy. I guess that would include derivative characters, time travel and other dimension variants and characters that are just plain gender, race, etnicy swaps. I guess it could affect some characters I actually like, such as War Machine or U.S. Agent, but it would save us from the dilluting of the brands we have seen in recent years. Writers would also have to go the extra mile to prove that characters like, say, She-Hulk, or Spider-Woman, have enough originallity in them to be considered their own characters and not simply derrivative gender swaps.

    Peace
