Default Most iconic Batman artists in history

Who are some of the most iconic Batman artists throughout the character's history do you think? I'll start:

    Bob Kane (obiously)
    Dick Sprang
    Carmine Infantino
    Neal Adams
    Jose Luis Garcia Lopez
    Don Newton
    Frank Miller
    David Mazzuchelli
    Alan Davis
    Todd McFarlane
    Norm Breyfogle
    Brian Bolland
    Steve Rude
    Bruce Timm

    Who else am I missing?

Keep in mind that you have about as much chance of changing my mind as I do of changing yours.

Yeah, I was thinking about including him. I know it's a personal bias, I just never cared for his Batman. But, yes, I agree.

Why is Todd McFarlane in that list? He drew like 6 batman stories, and it's nowhere near his best work.

And I may not be in love with him, but Greg Capullo has to be here

Although this might be bias on my part, Bernie Wrightson should be near the top of the lost in terms of quality.

Batman The Cult is by far my favorite Batman story in artstyle.

My thinking was because this is probably one of the most referenced Batman covers of all time, imho:

I mean, they've made statues and based action figures on his drawings.

I like Capullo, but I'm mostly thinking what's stood the test of time so far. I think we need to give him a little bit before we throw him in there, but that's just my thinking.

Then Jim lee should definitely be on this list. (Even though I personally have no passion for him)

Likewise. Which is probably why I didn't put him on the list. I used to really love him, but his work has just become so generic-looking to me.

If McFarlane is on there, then Jim Lee should be on there.

Graham Nolan and Tony Daniel would be on my list.
Pulls: Batman, Detective Comics, SiKtC, Catwoman, Nightwing, Titans, Godzilla, Wonder Woman, Batman & Robin, Brave and the Bold, No/One, Kill your Darlings, and Deviant.
My runs: Batman #230-, and Detective #420-

Hardly anyone mentions the '80s during Pre-Crisis, but I'll always consider the artwork of Gene Colan truly iconic (IMHO):

How could Greg Capullo not be on the list?
