I like the look here but I prefer Black Adam be capeless.

Exactly what I meant. His past as a failed Champion and revived in a new era has made him want to try and be better than he was before while still upholding the same values and beliefs.

Torn cape fits for the guy..he pretty worn out from what i get..over analysing here...Also,the art is similar to joe shuster's superman, which itself is taken from the western and old notion of what is tough(squinty eyes,big upper body..etc)..Clark throws a neat twist to that with a smile(something i loved..clark is not an angry guy..He's just gets very very passionate)

Oo ok.Black adam doesn't look like he is seeking redemption..He seems pissed.

I don’t think Priest will write him as trying to “be better”, I expect to see Adam become more and more dark as he tries to modernize Khandaq, with his young protege ultimately calling him out on being no better than the pharaohs he originally deposed.

- Differentiates him from Billy.

- Establishes him as a no-nonsense, more militant, hero.

- Makes him look sleek and more dangerous.

I don't think a lean,sleek body fits the kind guy black adam is here.As said,the jaw,the eyes,the body..etc all seems to be eerily similar to joe shuster superman design.Cap has a small cape,that befits a knight.Even modern look has cape being small.I will grant you that it is not necessary.

Never been a fan of zod..he's a cliche...I am interested cause i might get a hard knocks rough and tumble gladiator with some business to take care of..

The pose is fine..The body,costume design..etc is just standard medieval mage and magical beings such as elfs,fairy..etc gear(the boots,guantlet,ear..etc).I think rock's movie is going for a fallen champion more..Than evil magical being who thinks he is god and wants to step on ants.

I would love to see Priest write the two of them meeting. However I don’t think they would get along, Zod is a Kryptonian supremacist while Sinestro is an equal opportunity evildoer. Adam and Sinestro getting along makes sense, but Adam and Zod would definitely exchange blows.
