Didn't see another thread on this new book - #1 of 4 came out on Feb. 23. It's quite extraordinary: a wordless fantasy about a little girl being guarded by an armored giant as they make their way through a dangerous medievalish/steampunkish world.
The art is eye-wateringly gorgeous and finely detailed - I spend minutes poring over the pages, especially a few double-page landscapes that literally made my breath catch. It conveys a clear story with vividly poignant emotion and at the same time drops tantalizing mysteries about the characters' backstories and true natures, all without a single English word. This feels like a future classic if the next 3 issues live up to the opening.
