Apollo and Midnighter do not appear in the special that this drawing is the variant cover for. Nor does Diana.

But Tim Drake does. I'm sorry that the artist left him out.

    Well, a ****, right?
Developing..? I’m pretty sure that with an 80 year publication history she was already established as such until some folks only recently suggested (or demanded, depending on how you look at it) she be otherwise.

Lol right, there is no developing at 80 years old.

Oh yeah, you have your point but maybe we are demanding what she should be, not just a queer icon, but queer herself.

As much as I'd love for Diana to be, not just queer in theory, but explicitly shown ON PANEL to be queer, I have honestly accepted that DC Comics will never fully make any of the Trinity queer themselves. Sure, they will have their associates/friends/family members a variety of queer iterations, but the three superhero icons themselves will be considered off-limits, for the sake of "not alienating the majority" (which I think is bullcrap, but whatever...)

I guess we disagree on that. I don’t see any reason that she should be. Nevertheless, this thread is about Nubia and she is, so it’s not like there is any lack of representation in the Wonder-verse.

Seeing the various interpretations of her costume is fun. I kind of like the sheer skirt. The Gold/Blue being her colors I fully support. Also like the crown being on her forehead.
