So, today Bendis final Justice League issue comes out and here let go to discuss the evaluation of the run. Remember to be civilian because like it or not, Bendis is a writer you either love or hate.
I love it!! Bendis still is the best
It was acceptable but he has better works.
Intrascendent, nobody will remember it in two years
Mediocre, how can this be published?
Keep Bendis away from any DC title, please.

"Never assign to malice what is adequately explained by stupidity or ignorance."
"Great stories will always return to their original forms"
"Nobody is more dangerous than he who imagines himself pure in heart; for his purity, by definition, is unassailable." James Baldwin
Probably one of the biggest wastes of time that I've seen in recent years.
And considering this is the Justice League we're talking about and considering that we also got Scott Snyder's Pointless League in recent years, that's unnacceptable.
Started strong, ended middle of the road to bad. Too much focus on checkmate for too long. Too many continuity inconsistencies (it's Bendis).
And honestly, when the Royal Flush Gang shows up, we know the run is gone.
ConnEr Kent flies. ConnOr Hawke has a bow. Batman's kid is named DamiAn.

Completely forgettable, underwhelming and useless run. It was really easy to forget that this series existed, lol.
It doesn't even seem like Bendis himself was interested in writing it.
JL should have folded when Scott left. It lacked a real voice and a reason to exist, and Bendis didn't lend either to it.
Pretty terrible. Stories constantly taken over by his side projects.
And of course memorable moments like the League discussing how they should rebuild the Hall of Justice in a new important way for an entire issue only for Superman and the Flash to rebuild it exactly the way it was at the end.
Batman praised Naomi, and mentioned it had only been her first week! The entire run is set over no more than seven days! Does that even fit, continuity wise?

Well, the title of the thread gave me the best news I've had in quite some time. Does that answer your question?
Peace
I had such high hopes for it when it started out but I voted for Intrascendent, nobody will remember it in two years. I was really happy that he brought back Black Canary and Green Arrow and was also excited about the additions of Black Adam and Hippolyta but in the end, Hippolyta did little more than stand around and pose. The art was all over the place which didn't help. Naomi was clearly a pet character that didn't really add anything of value to the League. I liked her better on Young Justice.
Currently(or soon to be) Reading: Alan Scott: Green Lantern, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Jay Garrick: The Flash, Justice Society of America, Power Girl, Superman, Shazam, Titans, Wesley Dodds: Sandman, Wonder Woman, & World's Finest: Teen Titans.
Pretty much all of Bendis' DC work other than his Batman story were pretty much garbage.

Wow, that bad?
It was kind of nothing. It seemed that the only thing it did was set up Adam as a hero
It's crazy to think the writer who single-handedly revitalized the Avengers wrote this run on the Justice League.
You can tell that Bendis is just not good at writing a team that is mythic; but you give him a street level threat it's gangbusters.
This was really disappointing, especially since I know the heights Bendis can reach.
