Jean Grey in the words of Walt Whitman, from his masterpiece Leaves of Grass, "Song of Myself" (51 and 52):
"Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)"
"Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged, Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you."
I remember seeing this when Brooks posted this on twitter saying that he is doing a different style of rendering even if its a digital work.
Looks good. Seeing Cable in both pieces of promotional artwork gives me hope that he plays some sort of meaningful role in this event. I mean, having Wolverine/Storm/Jean/Cyclops/Magneto there is kind of a given, especially in this era. But Cable being in both pieces tells me he does something in this…
… my hope would be for a Ewing written, Ed McGuinness AXE tie-in mini series, X-Sanction II.

My main hope for the event is that that it doesn't put me off of the Eternals forever.
AvX was the first Avengers story I read as a reasonably new X-Men fan and let me tell you nothing put me off of buying Avengers comics (or Wolverine comic for a while) more than that event.
Same thing with IvX and the Inhumans, although I'd at least enjoyed their role in War of Kings first by that point.
I have faith in Gillen at least. His Uncanny was pretty good and The Wicked and The Divine is one of my favourite series of all time.
Namor is a member of Jason Aaron's Avengers team, he joined them in Avengers 50, so I'm not surprised to see him here.
Gillen writes a great Namor though.
This second image doesn't look like Valerio Schiti's art to me - I think it's a wraparound variant cover.
Love seeing Rogue on the promo image, hopefully she has a prominent role in this. Looking forward to it!

Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
Marvel really likes having Scott, Jean, and Illyana fighting together in these events, don't they.
