Half the universe says hi. And even when they die, they go Valhalla.

Unfortunately I think these days shows that long tend to come out looking cheaper, and being less “prestige”. That’s one of my worries - will this show be using a little budget in each episode to save on costs?

I'd be fine if they spend less by keeping the fighting street-level and real and also spend time on scenes that build drama and character.

    Not really.

Half the universe was brought back from the snap.

Loki and Gamora were brought back as variants from alternate timelines.

Gorr literally wished his daughter back to life from Eternity.

All the dead Asgardians and Jane Foster are in Valhalla primed to be brought back for the next cross over.

Marc Spector 'died' went to the afterlife and still came back.

Death is cheap in the MCU, just like in the comics.

    Variants are not resurrections.

Marc Spector didn't actually die. He was on death's door when he met Khonsu and made a bad deal to save his life.

Marc did die when he got shot by Harrow and went to the afterlife. Khonshu did save him so who knows how close he was.

Feige giving Daredevil twice as many episodes indicates he knows what the appeals were of the original, which makes me optimistic it'll be TV-MA still.

Well, I'm currently binging the Netflix shows in case some characters show up in DD:BA. Jessica Jones is sometimes a drag but interesting enough, the other shows are real good IMO.

The rumor is that Matt may be looking for Jessica Jones, which is why he shows up in She-Hulk. Plus with 18 episodes I'd imagine they'd get around to at least a few people.

They did end JJ rather ambiguously.

I didn't watch the last JJ season. What happened there?

Didn't seem that ambiguous to me. She was about to go to Mexico IIRC and decided to come back, right

The impact of their deaths are lessened by variants of them still existing. Marc was killed by Harrow in the pyramid, actually went to the afterlife but still came back. Also Gorr's daughter was brought back as well.

Well, as yet, is there even anything that's said that everything that happened in the Netflix shows is canon?

I'd again like to see the 18 episode season of Daredevil used as a kind of soft reboot -- which is not even that, since we have not seen most of the Netflix characters in the MCU proper at all as yet, nor did we see MCU characters directly crossover into Netflix shows. So really, this show can be used to introduce a better version of Danny Rand, correct another issue that always irritated me, how Luke and Jessica like completely forgot about each other, after the first season of Jessica Jones ... they can do whatever they want really, so I don't feel like a previously killed-off character being alive in the ongoing shows would be a huge deal.

My opinion is probably influenced by only having watched one season of Jessica Jones and Iron Fist each, so totally okay with ignoring plenty of stuff others may feel is super important.
Be kind to me, or treat me mean
I'll make the most of it, I'm an extraordinary machine
