So marvel had many limited series in the 80s. From secret wars to x-men vs avengers, to iceman to transformers the movie. So out of the many limited series is there ones you really loved or hated? Any that stand out?

This was probably the most successful one and it did have trigger some important events. Black suit Spider-Man gave us Venom, She-Hulk joined the Fantastic Four when Ben took a bit of hiatus.

Contest of Champions was fun idea, but not a great story. Wolverine and hercules were great. X-Terminators -- ugh!
The biggest disappointment for me was Secret Wars. It's not Crisis on Infinite Earth's. Lousy story (though the build up to it was great) and Mike Zeck just wasn't built to illustrate so many characters in one book.

The X-Terminators, Avengers vs X-Men, Fallen Angels ad Firestar are my favorites. The worst was Nightcrawler.
