I think Shin Godzilla was really good at least the parts with Godzilla init so I look forward to what they do with Ultraman.

I thought Shin Godzilla was very good, in fact I think it is the best Godzilla movie. I liked all of it, including the non-Godzilla parts.
I hope they can do as well with Shin Ultraman.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
So is this a more "realistic" take on the Science Patrol from the OG!Ultraman? Is that Hayata and company?
I know it was initially not supposed to be part of his design but Ultraman without the color timer looks weird.
I liked Shin Godzilla. And as Godzilla vs Kong was just...I regret every minute watching it and derived no pleasure in it and refuse to sit through a sequel to that...the "Shin" series is the only kaiju series going on I got to look forward to now, so I'm hoping it's entertaining.
I'm incredibly excited for this. Despite the fact that the effects are all digital the aesthetics are pure old-school tokusatsu!
While I didn't like Shin Godzilla, I'm jazzed about this new version of Ultraman!
