Considering "my" founders are the post-COIE five member team, I went with Green Lantern (but Aquaman's a close second!).

Just reread JLA: Year One earlier this year and I know what you mean. I really dig that book.

Even within the League, I'll say Batman.

Within reason, I dig the Prep Time aspect of the character. Morrison's use of it was pretty ideal, in my view. Morrison's JLA portrayal was ideal overall.

I like when he's more of the mysterious guy who's off finding information while the rest of the team is doing the fighting. Not so much when he's barking orders at everyone.

As cool as it is for this forum to complain about his popularity, I love that he's tied for most votes on this poll.

I'm currently re-reading JLA: Incarnations. While not as renowned, IMHO, it's just as good, and a great complement for Year One. Issues 2 and 4 are my favorites.

With there being no way to vote for guys like Wally, John Stewart, Hawkgirl and others that some people think of as classic or founding members of the Big 7 Hal may simply win because non-Silver-Agers aren't voting because they have no skin in the game/
