You fears/wishes/predictions for the post-Dark Crisis DCU

Sign me up as another wanting the real Jon Kent back. And undoing the crap story Bendis did that not only led up to the age-up, but undoing the crap parenting and marital relationship of Clark and Lois. Because, man, that was just plain awful.

I could also get behind the real Earth 2, 3, etc. I would like crossovers that DON'T involve some random reality warping Crisis to do so though. I also agree with garazza on the whole "creating a character solely to take a mantle". Yara, Jace (may as well be), and fake Jon (the one time I've seen any personality, was under the Super Sons writer) are all OCs. Nothing previous to establish them, just tossed into the mantle, ignoring characters that had long existed to take up said mantle. Look at Tim Drake, literally made "to be Robin", to the point where most current writers keep defaulting him back to Robin because what they do write, well, is lackadaisical, at best. Red Robin worked, until they Mary Sue'd him in New 52.

After that, I want this to be the last event like this, for at LEAST 5 years.

The best idea the Batbooks could run with is wiping the mistakes and retcons from the past twenty years.

They kind of are? Cass and Steph both finally got the Batgirl mantle back, and Cass her classic costume. Dick's back in Bludhaven, which was never destroyed. Babs is Oracle again (though still capable of being a Batgirl). And they had Damian strike out on his own, thus allowing Tim to take back the traditional sidekick role.

That's not really what I mean. I think Cass and Steph should be Orphan and Spoiler and Damian should be retconned to be an Elseworlds character. I think it's best to avoid giving longtime classic characters biological kids in the main canon. I think it works in some cases but it is very rare and they usually hog the focus. Harley should retain her classic look evil alignment and always go back to Joker. Sexual orientation retcons of various characters should be reversed. And Selina should get back her long hair and purple costume. But the Jason Red Hood stuff should stay. Barbara should be Batgirl and be with Dick but her brother shouldn't be evil. She should also be Jim's biological daughter which I think was one of the few good moves in the reboot.

I agree on all, but I think I like Babs Oracle. Though I guess I understand why'd you change it back since Batgirl is iconic.
