Default Are the Rebirth Deluxe Editions Books canceled?

    Hi!

In DC Rebirth a lot of collections had Deluxe Editions that i love: robust, excellent printout, comfortable (the omnibus editions are extremely heavy to read it), etc. I was buying the Deluxe Edition of Harley Quinn, when suddenly, DC stoped the edition in the third volume:

Three years later, isn't any new about the fourth volume and i don't know if wait or thinking about buying the next volumes in paperback:

    https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Sam-Hump...s%2C324&sr=8-1

    https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Sam-Hump...s%2C324&sr=8-2

I like very much the deluxe edition and i prefer to complete the Harley Quinn collection in hardcover, but i fear that while i wait, the paperback editions will sell out and i won't finish the collection.

So, the question is simple. DC has stoped temporally the Deluxe Editions, or directly has cancelled? For example the sixth volume of Batman will sell in July:

But i didn't discover any new about other collections.

    Thanks in advance!

    I think they renamed them.

For example the last King Batman book is just a deluxe edition.

But the contents match up with the previous "Rebirth" books.

No it's just a name change and that's all.

Will they continue to publish them past a certain creator's tenure - who knows?

Thanks very much for the quick answer!

It is true that for example, the next Batman Book in hardcover matches with the previous Rebirth edition (same size and equals contents and pages). The problem is that i barely found any examples of incoming deluxes editions. Apart of Batman vol.6, i only found Death and Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition:

    https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Neil-Gai...s%2C135&sr=8-1

    https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Jeph-Loe...s%2C288&sr=8-3

No other collection (as Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Superman, Justice League, etc) is programmed to have other deluxe edition. Because of this, i am not sure if this kind of edition is canceled or not.

In the case of Harley Quinn, what should i do? Wait? Until when? What is your opinion?

    Thanks in advance!

The early Deluxe editions collect the runs of an entire creative team (writer + artist) and out of all them King had the longest run and that's why he still has one more volume coming out, but the rest have already all come out.

A lot of titles during and after the Rebirth era went through creative changes, unless they were stellar runs, I don't know if deluxe editions will come out.

I was collecting Tom King's Batman run in the deluxe editions, but I stopped at volume 4. The paper quality dropped radically and the next volume took forever to release. I got the rest of the story in another edition, but I wonder if, with the release of volume 5, the paper went back to something like the old format or it kept the "newspaper"s quality (which I prefer in older books, but in doesn't match current art styles, especially, colors)

"We're monsters, buddy. Plain and simple. I don't dress it up with fancy names like mutant or post-human; men were born crueler than Apes and we were born crueler than men. It's just the natural order of things"-ULTIMATE SABRETOOTH
