The Blue Beetle pitch from last year is happening and some of the early stories which were eliminated from this year will get to show up in something.

God, I just hope the Hawkman/Hawkwoman pitch is shelved. The last thing they need is a son IMO.

Yeah, I do know that. The original's story is already convoluted as all hell. That's one of the reasons I'm against making yet another seemingly Damian-ized version.

God, I still can't tell if the writers had a plan for Hector as Doctor Fate and they just got derailed by some event storyline or something, or if they really had that little of an idea about what to do with him.

For example, Hector's soul is reincarnated as the future Doctor Fate. He gets the helmet, ages up to an adult and it turns out his comatosed mother is actually his long-lost wife Lyta, except not really because it turns out she was actually Dawn - glamored to look like Lyta by Mordru - who had been raped by a mad Hawk.

Just look at that summary. Revel in its many glorious WTFs.

Hopefully this means they might revive more pitches in the future.

Yeah. They don't even need to be full minis. Jesse Quick's from last year, and Kid Flash from this year, could both serve as backups in The Flash. The Suicide Squad and Harley Quinn stories could be back-ups in those titles too, and the same goes for the Green Lantern stories when that series returns. Superboy's can go in either Action Comics or Superman, while Question's could be used in one of the Bat books. Last year's JLQ story could also be a backup for Superman (as long as the book still stars Jon), considering Jon is LGBTQ+ himself.

I checked Instagram, Suicide Squad Dark beat Constantine and Superboy beat GL, so I think it’s safe to say those two will be our final competitors
