That wouldn't surprise me. By this time IIRC JR Sr was the art director and would step in to do touch ups etc. John Buscema was still learning the ropes at Marvel or maybe Stan wanted something changed really quickly. Plus seeing as the inker was Joe Sinnott sometimes he had an influence over the pencils.
