Default Comics they should turn into movies?

Stray Dogs ; Secret life of Pets meets Se7en - Cute little dog wakes up to find herself in a strange house filled with other dogs. The owner of the house is serial killer who has taken them as trophies after killing their owners.
Make it as either an animated film or with Jim Henson animatronics...

    what else?

Witchblade - never read the comics, but I loved the old TV show so if it's anything like that could be good.
Vampirella - hot vampire heroine who's still going on after oodles of decades, could be fun.
Amazing Screw-on Head - I adore the animated pilot they made like a decade back.
Atomic Robo - read some stuff online, seems to have a strong Hellboy but sci-fi bent. Sounds fun.

Vampirella got done in 96. God that was awful. Although, Roger Daltrey gave a campy performance that I kind of liked. But I am up for a legit reboot

Magdalena is another Top Cow property I'd like to see get a film done. Preferably alongside Witchblade and The Darkness.

It totally won't happen, but Cerebus should get a high quality animated series.

Any of the Brubaker and Phillips comics.

Only graphic novels or short limited series should get movie treatment. Longer comics should always be TV/streaming shows.

Or should they? I can't say I've ever been happy with any TV adaptation of a comics series, except maybe Deadly Class, and that got cancelled after 10 episodes.

If we could get faithful adaptations with the creators involved, and sticking to the story that's already right there in storyboard form, I would like to see TV adaptations of:

    Transmetropolitan
    Bone
Y: The Last Man (Yeah, I know... do it again, right this time.)
    Girl Genius (webcomic)
    Hopeless Savages
    Blue Monday
    Street Angel
    Love & Rockets
Birds of Prey (the Gail Simone run)
    Zatanna
    Fables
    Squirrel Girl
    Red Sonja
    Nextwave

Obviously, many of these could take detours away from the main canon storyline.

I was really bumbed that Mouseguard didn't make the cut when Disney bought Fox, and I still hope that get's made some day.

    Two come to mind:

    The Archie Goodwin/Walt Simonson Manhunter

The Tim Truman Hawkworld limited series (I think it was a limited series; it might have been a graphic novel).

Hell to the yes, but as an HBO Max series with the Batman material retained.

Ed Brubaker's Criminal, Fade-out, Scene of the Crime, Reckless and Kill or Be Killed.

    Chris Condon's That Texas Blood.

    Tom King's Sheriff of Babylon.

The Slingers would work as an Avengers analog for Sony.

With todays sense of what comics can be I think Rising Stars would work so well as a tv series. The whole premise of a group of people who are all born the day of a cosmic event and then living their whole life under the spotlight of being super powered would be perfect for HBO Max. People forget how much ahead of its time this book was with it being over 20 years ago. Even the way the story is written in 3 acts would make it perfect for a 6 season show.

A few from the UK comic 2000ad,
    Strontium Dog
    Rogue Trooper
    ABC Warriors

There were rumours of a Rogue Trooper project, but nothing seems to be likely to come of it… and with the Mega-City One tv show stalling and no apparent sequel to the excellent Dredd movie with Karl Urban, it’s very much wishful thinking that any of the 3 listed will hit the big screen.
