Ally McBeal Sequel Show In Development with a Black Female Lead granted I'm not the target for this but does anyone really want this?

McBeal is of its time. I mean, sure there are fans who'd love to see it. But I just don't see it working.

Yeah, not really the type of show that ages well. It was a reaction to all the serious law shows going on at the time that were immensely popular, including Kelley's own The Practice, and there was certainly an audience for something different that mocked it. It would be somewhat like making The Boys without all the superhero shows and movies dominating the market.

So Ally would be “Uncle Brazzos”?

I’m sure someone does. There is always a new lawyer/doctor/cop show on network tv. I don’t watch them but the genre seems to be evergreen.

I loved Ally Macbeal. Calista Flockhart was and is an amazing actress. I'm not really interested in a remake where she's either not in it or just a minor supporting character.
