I see now why Sage wasn’t picked up by any other writer for years, after X-Treme. She is a character who needs a good writer, and I must say that Claremont had a way of making her an ice cold fighting machine and interrogator on the field, with her computer brain and mysterious characteristics.

Sad to see her mostly in her office nowadays.

Sage was a boring, noninteresting character under Claremont IMO. The one in this book and this era in general is better overall. The computer stuff was annoying

I dont think The Crucible was ever really about mass suicide as thats really not Krakoa's problem or something they have to deal with. Lets say a bunch of former mutants kill themselves. There's still a 300 year queue they'd have to contend with, the same queue they'd have been on had they died naturally as humans. The Crucible existed to have them bypass that

hahahaha Beast at this point is a villain in the same level as Sinister. Marvel should drop all pretentions to the contrary and just have him join Abigail on his own free will, no manipulation necessary.
