Holy shit Hank, I’d think X-force would be better suited with Sinister in charge at this point, at least him being shitty isn’t a surprise to people.
Seriously, is no one providing oversight at all to this?

Well, Beast DID try to hook with a literal cat once... it was a mutant cat that had developed a kinda humanoid body, but it was still a cat.

Jean Grey was like: "Hank... are you trying to bang the cat?"

That's the one thing that's hard to believe is that someone hasn't stepped in and replaced Beast by now is laughable after the business with Terra Verde and the Teleforonics he should have been immediately removed as head of x-force if not just thrown into the pit.

It’s not just him being a irredeemable piece of crap. Sinister, Selene, Apocalypse, and so on are as well, but they are at least competent so if you kind of squint and pretend that Professor X combined a prizing of achievement mixed with the moral fiber selection of Donald Trump why those people would be let in. Beast isn’t just being an ass, he’s not getting anything down by being an ass as well

Emma likes Beast and she covers his messes. Xavier, Kate, Storm and Kurt turn a blind eye because he is a fellow X-Man. Mystique and Sinister probably find his messy crimes hilarious. Exodus and Magneto don't care because only humans died in Terra Verde. Shaw doesn't care, period. Destiny is pursuing her own goals, so she will take action against Beast only if it furthers her own goals.

But yes, Beast's lack of efficiency is a problem, even if you don't care how many humans he kills...

Exactly which is why Beast's argument that you need someone like him to do the wet work rings hollows because not only are there mutants who are willing to do the wet work they're also BETTER at it than he is I mean just look at how Brand handled things in SWORD cold, calculate, efficiency. Percy's Beast could NEVER.

100%! I do like how this week’s XForce started to deal with that too. It does feel like Hank’s got a big story coming…. I just hope it’s resetting/renewing him or replacing him rather than it ending with him being all “See I told you someone like me is needed!”

Beast has just enough morals to know that everything he's doing is wrong so he tends to half-ass it it a little and screw the whole thing up.

If you want a truly immoral mad scientist, he needs to be TRULY immoral, not somebody who thinks "this is horrible, but I'm going to do it anyway."

This was an ok issue but the art was mind-blowing. Why can't we have him as one of the regular artist in one of the X-title with bad art?

If no one was incompetent in comics they would be so boring. We need more incompetence. Like that Orchis scientist who concocted this whole experiment but never thought to make sure the place was properly shielded from the volcano they built it in.

There's a difference between making mistakes so a story can go forward and never facing any actual consequences for your actions so people can keep on using your character as satire for the entire CIA. On that note, does anyone else find it weird that they decided to try and cram all of the flaws with a CIA-like organization into just one character? Makes the entire critiscism feel a lot more hollow when you suggest the blame is with individual agents instead of the organization itself.

In Immortal X-Men, Mr Sinister hints that there’s definitely a reason Hank acting like this now. And Sinister is aware of it.

My guess 1. it’s something having to do with Hank and Brand and their break up.
    2. Something to do when Hank reintegrated the time displaced young Beast’s memories (and his magic using)
    3. Some outside influence from Dark Beast.

    But what about Colossus (Mikhail)?
Sooner or later Beast is going to do something that will piss the Russians off again and with Mikhail controlling Colossus, he’s going to have to do something about it.

They tried to cram an entire CIA-like organization into just 5(?) characters. I never get the feeling that anyone really cares how well they do, just that they exist, and I am not sure what more they can do since the whole island is populated by freeloaders now. Conscript mutants into their counter-espionage group? Nope, just going to let Beast and a few others mess around and hope they don't do anything that can't be repaired.
