    Small feel-good story from this day … Stephen Vogt of the A’s, last game of his career, was announced in by his kids on his first at-bat and hit a home run on his last at-bat of his career (his first career hit was also a home run). Sweet moment for the day.

    Looks like the Mets could have taken the East if they only won one game from the Braves. That sweep did them in.

    The 2022 postseason is underway with Cleveland leading Tampa 2-1 in the seventh. It’s plenty cool that Cleveland, in the first season after dropping their old nickname (which I won’t mention) has made the playoffs. Good for them.

    I was so happy to see the Phils win last night. It was looking bad for awhile there. They really pulled it off.
