Well, Sterling is 84. I believe that makes him the second oldest play-by-play announcer in MLB behind only Bob Uecker at 88.

Doesn't surprise me. I grew up watching Rizutto make calls like, "That ball is outta-- no wait, caught behind second base for out number two."

Well, yeah, but the difference is that Ueker usually intends to be funny.

I never even heard of Kyle Wright until it was announced he had won his 20th game. Nevertheless, he stymied my Phillies and the Braves took advantage of one bad inning (sixth) to tie the series after a 3-0 win. Meanwhile, the next base hit leadoff hitter Kyle Schwarber gets will be his first of the postseason as he's 0-16. Not at all good.

It was almost as if the Dodgers had been...goosed! They should cry fowl!

Oh, well, what should I expect when Goose Gossage was in attendance. Going to have to work a bit harder next time to keep him away...of course he'd take the Padre's side...

Phillies fans have been salty, frustrated and angry since last night, even though we ended up with the best possible outcome after the first two games in Atlanta. Going into the series, fans would’ve been elated with a split given how the Braves pantsed us all season, thing is, fans got greedy after we stole game one, and with Zack Wheeler, our ace on the hill last night, there were dreams of taking two, and were disappointed when the Braves refused to cooperate. But now, the next two games are here in Philly starting tomorrow, after an eleven year drought, Citizens Bank Park will be rocking!

Id love that as well but its a tall order.

I will hate to see the ALCS come down to the Yankees and Trashtros.
