I think I'm more interested in our Batman and his reasons for getting Slater's watch than I am with what happens to Thomas. Further, how does that watch even exist in the DCU?

"Darkseid...always hated music..."
Every post I make, it should be assumed by the reader that the following statement is attached: "It's all subjective. What works for me doesn't necessarily work for you, and vice versa, and that's ok. You may have a different opinion on it, but this is mine. That's the wonderful thing about being a comics fan, it's all subjective."
Sounds like a bit of a regression for Thomas on his whole “nothing matters I have to bring my son back” storyline. Then again he did just get back from a world where his son was alive and then went on a crazy multiverse adventure with someone named Captain Carrot only to find himself back in his old universe that last he checked was deleted...so you know what maybe he’s not entirely wrong.
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would, hopefully it stays decent.
