My excitement for seeing Dazzler in something again is all but gone now. Pretty tired of seeing her used in irrelevant stories or as a background character.
This writer is on the list of "no goes" for me, not a fan of her works overall and honestly I don't think her writing is meant for me.
Shame though about the artist, I think they would be intriguing under a different writer. Speaking of which, what is it with Marvel consistently taking the best artists off X-titles or giving them limited runs. I'm SURPRISED we have gotten Larraz for so long. I feel like great artists come onto X-titles for a spell then Marvel pushes them onto the FF, Avengers, etc.
NXM and X-Force have taught me there are no redundant powers only incapable and uncreative writers.
Grant Morrison had like 8 or 9 telepaths running around his title and casually balanced the characters by writing them as such instead of powersets. Same with X-Force under Kyle and Yost most the cast were street level with some form of physical enhancements didn't stop the overall story being told.
Oh, you must have struggled in the past with the many all male teams...

Yeah, most books usually have 7 members. 5 of them are usually male, and 3 of them are usually Wolverine characters, lol.
I'll give this a try. Love the cast but Leah usually doesn't do it for me. The Trial of Magneto sucked but I also blame editorial alot for that.
I dont mind them all having the same powers as it's more about personality of the characters and Dazzler, Jubilee, Boom Boom and Laura-verine are most different in personalities so it can be quite good. The art looks fun it's not something set in, on or around Krakoa necessarily so that's a nice change of pace.
Who’s she going to blame for the out of character moments, nonsensical plotting and forced conflict this time?
Hard pass on this after trial of magneto left a sour taste in my mouth.
Love the idea of Dazzler, Boom Boom and Jubilee as a team, but not a fan of Leah’s writing. Pass.
Laura and Jubilee are fun. More ambivalent on Dazzler and Boom Boom. I will pick it up and see if it's for me.
I'm going to be perfectly honest, I have never understood the dislike for Leah Williams work. Outside of trying to downplay Dakken's crimes, I enjoyed X-factor.
