Yeah, and it was a pretty rote"Batman's Back!" kind of story. I'm not saying it was badly done, the characterization of Bruce was great, I loved seeing him smile, and the scenes with both Catwoman and Talia were well done...but it didn't feel new at any moment and once again we still didn't get a real motivation for why Ogram is taking over Gotham so there was no forward movement.

It feels really weird seeing Bruce and Talia together again after everything that's happened between them.

I got lost about 5 issues ago. But, the villain that everyone misses.....
"The best rogues gallery in comic books" no longer exists.

This issue had some good character moments but not much happens to move the plot forward.

At best there's some set up for the finale but this part of the run feels like its running on fumes.

too much of a good thing would be a good way to describe this run. There are alot of cool elements indivudually but it hasnt come together well.

I think that's what is frustrating, Ram V is clearly a good writer but he doesn't have a good editor here.

The book lists an associate editor, editor and group editor so I don't think "no one" is editing, I just don't think they're doing a good job.

It ends in 5 issues so there'd that I'm hoping the next creative team is good. I haven't picked up the book cause I would ha w started late but I have read them and it's ok. I've considered e ing picking it up with the new team in #1090

I think from the looks of it , Bruce was with Talia for many many nights . They drew Bruce with a pretty heavy beard too . Will Damian end up having a sibling ?
Makes you wonder the long term plans , if there are any ?
Someone wrote that it's 5 more issues until we get a new creative team with #1090 .
Actually it feels like Ram V has been writing Tec for like 2 years .

She was engaged in a sexual and romantic relationship with Valmont not that long ago.

So yeah if Selina is free game, so is Bruce.

The weird thing is things have been so contentious between Bruce and Talia that I have a hard time seeing them getting along again or Talia being so motivated towards Bruce.

They had such bitter divorced couple vibes before.
