Well, yeah, Thor in What If was if he'd never learned humility like in the first movie. Though I think he was channeling more of Hemsworth's post-Ragnarok Thor than in the older movies, at least in terms of energy/dialogue.

Thor being oblivious is kind of the point too, since otherwise there wouldn't have been any drama with Loki.
Like I said, I just didn't feel it. Their brotherly comradery really didn't come across to me until Ragnarok.
Well, I think it was a different kind of comradery in the first half of the original Thor since the rest of the time they're enemies, pretty much. Yet still valid in my opinion.

Maybe comedy helps sell stuff more...

So apparently Goldblum/Grandmaster and Dinklage/Eitri were cut from the film and would have had a scene with Gorr.

How would the Grandmaster have survived this one .

Would Gorr go after him if he's not the type who seeks worship? Adulation, yes.

I think they confirmed he's still an Elder of the Universe like the Collector.

In interviews and background material. They might have also confirmed he and the Collector are still brothers.

Well I for one wouldn't have wanted either the Grandmaster or Eitri to be killed off just to show how badass Gorr is. The one thing I really didn't like about Ragnarok was the off-handed killing of the Warriors Three to show how badass Hela is.

Same. Although I don't think they would have had Gorr kill them.

I do wonder if Gorr will kill a name character...other than Zeus.

I sure hope he doesn't kill Sif. She is the last of the Asgardians from the first movie left and Thor has really lost enough at this point. I truly enjoyed Ragnarok, but the treatment the Warriors Three got in it was my one sore spot and it never has sat well with me. I don't want a repeat of that. Especially with Heimdall dying right after it in Infinity War. I am tired of the Marvel Studios treating them as expendable.
