Lost In Limbo: Characters You Want To See Return

I’ve lost track of his many characters, teams and organizations that are languishing in limbo.

I can tell you that I miss the JSA, Captain Atom, Kyle Rayner, Jack Knight, the Pre-Bendis Legion and the JLI cast.


Limbo is a hard place to be. Who are some other characters you would like to see return and where would you place them?

Same character I've wanted to see for a loooooonggg time (since the late 80's -early 90's, as a matter of fact). Rac Shade, the Changing Man. The real one, the original Ditko rogue cop version, not the Milligan one (which, personally, I hate).
But I also want to see many in your list.

Best thing I liked about the New 52 was the variety of comics tried(clearly hit or miss).

Abso-effing-lutely! This kid should never have been put in Bendis' trifling hands! He screwed this character over so badly. And, for what?! To tell stories he could have used Conner for. Bendis should have brought back another character that would have fit well in this new role, Lor-Zod, Chris Kent. A character I'd like to see brought back, as he was this Lois' and Clark's adopted son from their Pre-52 universe.

Chris and Thara could make a comeback. Partner them with Kara and have them do adventures anywhere but on Earth.

I’d like to see the Justice Guild of America return as the Justice League of Earth 4.

totally miss Holly Granger. That's the only time I've actually liked Hawk & Dove. Hank Hall is such a prick that I can never give a **** about them.

I'm re-reading the JLI comics, which are so much fun. I'd love to have a series for that team again.
The post Crisis Linda Danvers is a character I loved and would've loved to see return. She could work in a supporting role, such as a mentor for a new Young Justice team, or even a mentor for a new Supergirl if Kara keeps the Superwoman name.

I would like to see the Global Guardians given a run, in some sort of original incarnation.

Some great heroes on this team Jack O Lantern, Dr. Mist, Tasmanian Devil, and of course Fire & Ice
