How long does a character have to be absent from new comic book stories to be considered "in limbo"?

Hmm... characters who've been used... but not the way I like:
Lor-Zod: yeah I liked the conflicted one. He loves his father(Dru-Zod), but... doesn't want to be like him.
Livewire.... I liked her as Superman's ally better than as a Supervillain.

Needs seen:
Thara Ak-Var would be nice to have back.
Cir-El wasa really neat character concept

Scorch! One of my favorite modern comics characters.

Pied Piper... after beating the ---- out of this guy in DCUO repeatedly, I'd love to see him get the --- beaten out of him in the comics too.

Shade The Changing Man had such a rich mythology in it's short 8 issue run I'm surprised both Meta and Shade are both widely ignored by DC writers.

I think I'd care more about a SWAT Kats reviual than Wild CATS.

The 'Meta-Verse' could be a predecessor to what is called Bgtzl in the 30th/31st century. (It will be set 1000 years apart, so the two realms could be *quite* different!)

As for the "Matt Baker version", if all you want is art like his, get somebody that has a style similar to Adam Hughes to draw it.

And I've said it elsewhere before, but I don't know if DC really considers having any claim to the version Matt Baker did since that was published by a different company after Quality Comics stopped running her feature. (However, since that version was the same character as the Quality Comics version, DC would probably object to anybody else using that character for new stories.)

Beauty Blaze had a cool visual. I'd be cool with her showing up again! Too many Legion relaunches seem to tap the old familiar wells, Fatal Five, Legion of Super-Villains, Mordru, Universo, maybe Regulus and the League of Super-Assassins and Grimbor. It'd be neat to see some of the less-used villains of yesteryear, in addition to some new ones, including folk like Beauty Blaze or Quanto or Mystelor or Prince Pharoxx or Organus.
