Why the hate for Skate? In the games lore he and Adam Hunter are brothers. Additionally, if they bring in characters from Streets of Rage 4 then we would get Cherry who is the daughter of Adam and niece of Skate lol. Plus Skate was fun to use in Streets of Rage 2 even though he was the weakest character ( stat wise).

I am a BIG Streets of Rage fan so I am 110% down for a live action movie with the John Wick creative team behind it. The story and world is pretty straight forward as well so they should be able to keep it game accurate enough ( with modern improvements). Just hope it doesn't end up like the live action Street Fighter movie lol.

Mr. X has been the main villain in the Streets of Rage games so he is a given. If they pull from The Streets of Rage franchise doesn't have a huge rouges gallery to choose from. Shiva could be a secondary bad guy ( who later turns good). They could have the thugs in the games that you fight like Big Ben, Garcia, Signal, Electra, etc. If they pull from Streets of Rage 4 they they could include Mr. X kids as the villains ( The Y Twins).

So are we talking about the father who wrote the book or we talking about some lame director.

We already have a couple of SOR series from Fan-made to a mature-adult-drama series from "Play murder for me" years.

So are we going to have giant mecha robots and big tall sky-scrapers featuring tons of unnecessary fish-tanks.
