Probably makes for a better story than some of the stuff they're trying to make now.

is everyone forgetting the Flash movie is suppose to have Michael Keaton as Batman. this is a multiverse movie. Every multiver superhero film has done really well.

    Spider-Man: Into the Spidderverse
    Spider-Man No Way Home
    Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness
    Everything Everywhere All At Once
    Avengers Endgame
    Star Trek

Warner believes this is a $1 billion movie. They will hold on until things get much worse.

Some very promising news came out today:

If WBD was a person with legs, their legs would both be chopped off right now. Meanwhile over at Marvel, KF is probably sitting there just shaking his head at all of the shenanigans going on at WBD. It hurts so bad being a DC fan right now. Cancellations galore. Calling this situation a trainwreck is an understatement.

His mental health? How did you make that mistake when you got their pronouns right the other five times?

Yikes, that's a lot of negative press.

Well, they do need to reshoot all of Mera's scenes, because Amber Heard has her own problems and has been fired.

Eh, it's easy enough to slip with pronoun use so I don't really see belaboring the point especially if the effort was being made.

They haven't been on the thread since the post in question...which was three pages back now so why bother worrying about a slip up? This especially true when it doesn't appear to be malicious.

Because multiple people are slipping up and blaming it on "not being used to using different pronouns."

If anyone actually cared, they would edit their posts. People act like this is something difficult or requires extra brainpower. Slip ups happen in real life because with verbal communication we do not have the freedom to take our time to draft responses and we can't edit things we've already said. That excuse is stupid as hell on a website where we do have those freedoms.

If it doesn't matter to you or to other people, then you should go about your day and not bother explaining the reason, but taking the time to respond to make up excuses for misgendering is ridiculous. It's not about Ezra, it's about any trans person or anyone with preferred pronouns, especially those on this site. Either do it or don't, but don't make up excuses for something that is genuinely triggering for people.

There are things worth being bothered by and there are things that aren't...this is clearly the latter as it was a single misuse in a post that was otherwise respectful. If someone was purposefully misgendering someone over and over again that would be cause for alarm, but one time after doing it right multiple times? Making an issue out of that just comes across as pedantic.

    Crazy thought here...

We separate the actor from the character. They release the movie, and find a better Barry Allen, while Miller fades away.

They recast Batman, Superman, James Bond, why is this any different?

The key problem lies in giving a potentially huge payday to a felon like Ezra Miller.

I think they've already been paid.

I suppose that's true, but the bulk of the payday has happened and I think their career is likely over at this point, so I feel like it's not a significant issue in the long run. I doubt Miller has much of a future in movies going forward.
