    Probably has more to do with people liking the TV actor more than the movie on in this case.

    I imagine a good (or better) alternative for Barry could be found, but since nothing else is out there at the moment, it's not surprising people want Gustin.

    Would prefer a new actor though for a fresh take entirely (preferably someone blond or who could dye their hair blond). But Gustin or newbie, either is better than the shitshow we have now.

    I get the distinct impression that Gustin has had enough of the role. He negotiated for more time off and seems to be half asleep during his performance lately.

    Also, I really don't think he has the presence to carry a big movie. He's not a terrible actor or anything, but he's just not that compelling. Also, we've got about a decade's worth of screen time of this guy as Barry. How much more do we need?

    I really want a new actor, not the same stale take.

    Why not digitally erase Miller from the movie and replace him with Cavill's porn 'stache?


    (They must have access to a ton of those images they had to digitally remove from the Justice League reshoots . . . )
